Delivery Driver - Supplies/Furniture

For over 42 years Glennie’s has been providing office supplies, office furniture, break room supplies and technology products to companies in the San Diego and South West Riverside counties. We are interviewing candidates for a Business to Business Delivery Driver. The right candidate is a team player. If that is you, expect to Drive the same route daily delivering supplies and some furniture to Glennie's business accounts in San Diego and South Riverside Counties You may also be called on to perform duties in the warehouse and other special projects as time allows.

Expectations:

• Organize route and deliver products on a daily basis utilizing proper equipment driving Glennie's delivery vehicles.
• As needed delvier or assist in delivery and or assembly of office furniture.
• Communicate with sales and customer service to resolve customer service issues brought to your attention during the day.
• Work with other departments to solve problems
• Suggest new approaches to providing better service to Glennie’s customers
• Working with the sales team, drivers administration and management to provide exceptional service
• Periodically deliver or assist in delivery of furniture - see requirements under the Furniture Delivery Job Expectations

Requirements

• Excellent driving record.
• Read city street maps and determine best routing for deliveries
• Lift and move products safely
• Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers.
• Great interpersonal relationship skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Commitment to excellence.

Nice to have but you may overcome

• Basic understanding of office technology
