For almost 40 years Glennie’s has been providing office supplies, office furniture, break room supplies and technology products to companies in the San Diego and Riverside counties. We are interviewing candidates for a B2B Customer Service position. The right candidate is a team player. If that is you, expect to respond to incoming customer calls, enter orders and follow up on customer inquiries. You will also work with the outside sales force and other departments to provide exceptional service to customers. As time allows you may also work on other special projects.
The current opportunity may be filled with 1 full time employee or 2 part time employees depending on candidates’ response.
This is not an entry level position. While experience in office supplies or computer supplies is nice it is not required. However, experience in a customer service role is necessary.
Expectations:
• Handle inbound customer service calls (via phone, fax and e-mail) including but not limited to entering orders, finding products that meet customers needs, resolve product and service concerns..
• Communicate with vendors to find product solutions for customers
• Work with other departments to solve problems
• Keep customer information current in the database
• Suggest new approaches to providing better service to Glennie’s customers
• Working with the sales team, drivers administration and management to provide exceptional service
Requirements
• Excellent phone skills.
• Excellent communication skills with prospects, customers and staff.
• Good computer skills expecially Microsoft Office.
• Great interpersonal relationship skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Commitment to excellence.
Nice to have but you may overcome
• Office products industry experience
• Basic understanding of office technology
